Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and promoting their overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a genuine passion for helping others. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing. Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure the health and safety of clients. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences. Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities. Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health plans. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Previous experience in long-term care, home health, or hospice care is preferred. Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses is a plus. Knowledge of basic cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. Experience in cleaning and maintaining a hygienic home environment is beneficial. Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong communication skills while interacting with clients.
