Job Overview Join our dedicated team as a Residential Group Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, personalized care to residents with diverse needs. You will work in a supportive environment that emphasizes respect, dignity, and independence for each resident, ensuring their safety and well-being are always prioritized. Perfect for someone looking to supplement an income, retirees and nursing students 21+ Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support medication administration following prescribed protocols and document accurately using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems Provide specialized care for residents with ADHD, Bipolar, I & II, implementing behavior management techniques to promote comfort and safety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards Drive residents to appointments, school, or activities when required, ensuring safe transportation practices Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and family members to develop personalized care plans Support residents' emotional well-being through social engagement, companionship, and respectful communication Requirements Prior experience in long-term care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care is highly preferred Knowledge of ADL assistance techniques Certification in First Aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges is a plus Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate attitude toward residents' needs Valid driver's license for transportation duties; safe driving record required Every other weekend shifts Clear backround Join us in providing exceptional care that enriches lives!
