Company Overview:
THE MEDICAL
TEAM, a top-ranked healthcare services provider since 1978, is seeking dedicated Homemakers and Direct Service Workers to assist our elderly population in the Luling, Boutte, and Paradis areas. We are excited to offer FREE training to qualified candidates at no cost!
Responsibilities:
Homemakers:
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, and provide companionship and sitting care.
Personal Care:
Assist with bathing, shaving, hair care, nail and skin care, oral hygiene, toileting, and elimination.
Activities of Daily Living:
Support clients with eating, dressing, ambulation, and transferring between bed and chair.
Safety and Emotional Support:
Help maintain a safe environment and provide necessary emotional support for the client's well-being.
Light Housekeeping:
Duties include sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, cleaning bathroom and kitchen surfaces, changing bed linens, and light laundering.
Home Management:
Prepare and serve light meals, manage linen changes, perform laundry, and provide stand-by assistance as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older with Experience Elderly Caregiving Must have the legal right to work in the United States. Must possess reliable transportation, driver's license, and auto insurance Must pass a criminal background check. The Medical Team is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
