Job Description
30 hours per week in Bunkie. We are looking for four (4) caregivers to provide Homemaker services for a veteran in his home. He lives alone and has mobility issues due to his knees. Homemaker/Home Health Aide duties. Responsibilities Assist client with showering, personal care and dressing Assist with meal preparation Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment Skills Proven experience as personal care attendant Committed to health & safety Able to do housework and cooking Well-organized and reliable Excellent communication and people skills Ability to redirect and negotiate with clients having Alzheimer's and dementia Positive and compassionate attitude Strong ethics Physical stamina CPR certified helpful High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver's license a clean criminal background check
