Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to elderly individuals. In this vital role, you will maintain a safe working environment while promoting client's well-being. Your commitment will help create positive experiences for those in your care, ensuring their needs are met with kindness and professionalism. This paid position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who require caregiver support. Duties Provide attentive care to elderly adults ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Assist with daily routines such as feeding, changing their depends, bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping. Support dementia care through engaging activities that promote memory. Follow mandated reporting laws by recognizing signs of abuse or neglect and report concerns appropriately Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to safe daily living experiences Collaborate with families and team members to develop individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs Qualifications Experience working with individuals with disabilities, special needs and/or elderly individuals is highly preferred Prior caregiving experience including bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is required; ongoing training encouraged Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to safety and welfare Strong communication skills with the ability to connect positively with clients and families Join us in creating a positive environment where every client feels valued and supported!
