Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing personalized care in their own homes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive support, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence for clients across various stages of life and health conditions. Responsibilities Deliver patient personal care assistance, including help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Assist with medication administration and monitor vital signs to ensure health stability and safety Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met while accommodating dietary restrictions Conduct patient observation and monitor for changes in condition, reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals Use proper patient transfer methods and manual handling techniques, including Hoyer lifts and patient transfer devices, to ensure safe mobility Maintain detailed care plans tailored to each individual's needs, respecting residents' rights and promoting dignity in every interaction Provide home & community care support by assisting with transportation, light housekeeping, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment Qualifications Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of client information Certified in First Aid and CPR; additional certifications in hospice care, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, or memory care are highly valued Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and dementia or Alzheimer's-specific care strategies Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and use patient transfer methods effectively Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred Valid home health or long-term care experience demonstrating a commitment to compassionate caregiving Join us in making a meaningful difference through dedicated caregiving that empowers individuals to thrive at home.
