Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a key part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, ensuring compliance with care plans Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards Support patient transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and ensure safe manual handling practices Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, patient observations, and any changes in condition in accordance with HIPAA regulations Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience with specialized care such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care or hospice care is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and patient transfers using appropriate equipment Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training or nursing home experience are a plus Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for personal transportation assistance if needed Join our team to provide compassionate home health services that truly make a difference!
