Current schedule:

Fridays and Saturdays, 2:00-4:00 PM 4 guaranteed hours per week to start We are looking for someone with weekday flexibility who is interested in picking up additional shifts when coverage is needed . We anticipate having more regularly scheduled weekday hours available in the near future. This position involves hands-on care of rescued farm animals, including goats, sheep, cows, pigs and chickens. Our residents include elderly and special-needs animals, so attention to detail, patience and a genuine commitment to excellent animal care are extremely important. We're looking for someone who: Is exceptionally reliable and takes their work commitments seriously Has a stable, predictable schedule and can consistently commit to the Friday and Saturday shifts Has some weekday availability for occasional additional shifts Is comfortable working outdoors year-round in heat, cold, rain, snow and mud Is physically capable of farm work, including lifting, carrying, bending and being on their feet Is comfortable getting dirty as this is very much a hands-on farm job Is attentive, responsible and able to follow detailed animal-care instructions Genuinely cares about animals and their wellbeing Works well independently as well as with a team Previous farm, veterinary, shelter, sanctuary or other animal-care experience is strongly preferred, but not required . We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, eager to learn and genuinely committed to the animals. Because consistency is extremely important to our animals and our team, this position is best suited to someone looking for stable, ongoing employment rather than temporary, seasonal or school-year work.
