I lead a busy life that involves regular community involvement, social outings, and household management. I am not looking for a babysitter; I am looking for a reliable team of assistants who can help me with the physical tasks I cannot do myself, enabling me to maintain my independence and active lifestyle. Job Summary I am seeking multiple reliable, honest, and motivated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join my care team. This is a direct-hire position (not an agency) funded through the state. Reliability is critical for this role. I depend on my team to help me start and end my day. Because I am hiring multiple people to cover these shifts, you do not need to be available for every single day or shift listed to apply. We will work together to build a consistent schedule that fits your availability. Schedule & Hours I am looking to split these hours among multiple candidates (e.g., hiring one person to cover morning shifts and others to cover evening shifts, or splitting weekdays/weekends). Please review the schedule details below:
Morning Shifts:
7:00 AM - 11:00
AM Days Needed:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Flexibility:
Strict / Non-negotiable. The 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM timeframe cannot move due to my prior daytime commitments.
Evening Shifts:
6:00 PM - 11:00
PM Days Needed:
Monday through Thursday, and Saturday & Sunday.
Flexibility:
Negotiable initially, then fixed. We can adjust the start and end times of the evening shift during the interview/hiring process to fit your schedule. However, once we agree on the timing, these hours will remain fixed and consistent week to week. Please specify which shifts (mornings, evenings, or both) and which days you are interested in when applying.
Key Responsibilities Daily Routine Care:
For Morning Shifts:
Assist with getting out of bed, showering, dressing, and preparing for the day.
For Evening Shifts:
Assist with dinner preparation, getting ready for bed, and winding down for the night.
Transfers:
Use medical equipment (lifts/hoists) to assist with transfers safely.
Household Duties:
Prepare meals, cook, and perform general light housework.
Transportation:
Drive my full-size van (equipped with a lift) to transport me to doctor's appointments, social activities, or run errands.
Companionship:
Maintain a positive, professional, and social environment.
Requirements Driver's License:
Must possess a valid driver's license and feel comfortable driving a full-size van with a lift.
Transportation:
Must have your own reliable transportation to and from work (Methuen, MA).
Communication:
Must be fluent in English, both reading and speaking. Comfort with

Applicants must be comfortable working in a home with pets.
Reliability:
You must be determined and motivated to fulfill the duties of the position.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$20.00 per hour (Paid bi-weekly).
Payroll:
Wages are processed via a state-funded fiscal intermediary using a punch-in/punch-out system.
Training:
Previous experience is helpful but not required; full training will be provided for the right candidate. Interview Process To respect your time and ensure a good match, the interview process consists of two steps:
