Job Description

Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals needing support within their own homes. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized care, promote independence, and foster a safe and nurturing environment. Your dedication will help clients maintain their dignity and comfort while receiving professional assistance tailored to their unique needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall well-being Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist with feeding when necessary Support clients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safety Maintain detailed care plans, document patient observations, and communicate updates to healthcare teams Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment Administer medications accurately following HIPAA guidelines and care protocols while ensuring patient safety Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes supporting individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and hospice care practices Ability to work with individuals with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders with patience and understanding Strong patient observation skills to monitor health changes and respond appropriately Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred; willingness to obtain relevant certifications if not already held Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, manual handling, and assist with mobility devices safely Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Join us in making a meaningful difference by providing compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live comfortably and independently. Pay:
$24.51 - $26.00 per hour
