This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will be a trusted companion and helper, ensuring your clients receive the highest quality of care in a respectful and nurturing environment. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, medication adherence, and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Support clients with medication administration following care plans and HIPAA privacy standards Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction Skills Proven experience in home & community care or assisted living environments, with knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's, or memory care preferred Strong understanding of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and patient care protocols Certified in CPR and First Aid; experience with hospice or end-of-life care is a plus Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Ability to lift heavy objects safely and operate assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare professionals, and team members Experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities is advantageous Join us as an In Home Caregiver to bring energy, compassion, and professionalism into every interaction.
