We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to children and individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while fostering growth, learning, and independence. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in early childhood education, behavior management, and personal care while making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children Plan and implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, learning, and fun Support children with disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized assistance to meet individual needs Ensure the safety of children through vigilant supervision, adherence to safety protocols, and first aid or CPR when necessary Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to share updates on their child's progress, behavior, and any concerns Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and nap times for infants and toddlers Manage behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and age-appropriate discipline strategies Requirements Experience working with children across various settings such as daycare, babysitting, nannying, or classroom environments Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing training is encouraged Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Ability to plan age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning and socialization for children of all ages Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration Demonstrated patience, compassion, and enthusiasm for caregiving roles Join us in creating a nurturing environment where children thrive!
