Job Description

Center for Human Development, (CHD), will be hosting a hiring event on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 11am-3pm . We are seeking Relief Direct Care staff to work in small residential group homes within our Meadows Homes located throughout the local Hampden County area. We work with adults with intellectual, physical and developmental disabilities. Each home has between 2-5 residents. We help them with a variety of tasks of daily living, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, going out to appointments, community outings, giving medications, and help with all levels of personal care needs like showering and toileting.
Pay rate:
$18.00/hr.
Locations include:
Longmeadow, Ludlow, Springfield, East Longmeadow, Chicopee, Southwick, West Springfield, and Palmer.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a valid driver's license (all drivers under the age of 21 must have 3 years of driving history) Willingness to provide personal care to residents served Those holding CPR/First Aid and MAP certification a plus We are currently seeking to fill per diem openings primarily for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
