Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide high-quality personal care and support to a client in Aberdeen, MD This position offers consistent hours from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, allowing for a stable routine and meaningful engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home healthcare, with a focus on enhancing the well-being and independence of clients. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for those under your care while adhering to all healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming. Monitor and observe patients' conditions, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed. Maintain accurate medical documentation Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Assist with patient transfer methods using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer belts to ensure safety during mobility. Follow home health care regulations and safety procedures diligently to maintain a secure environment for clients. Assist client with transportation to medical appointments. Skills Proven experience working with individuals who are in need of physical assistance. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Ability to perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry while maintaining hygiene standards. Knowledge of home health care assistance techniques including patient transfer methods and use of mobility aids like Hoyer lifts. CPR / 1st Aid certification is reqiured Ability to work independently within a team environment while adhering to privacy laws such as HIPAA.
