Live-In Caregiver HSS Assisted Living District Heights, MD Job Details Full-time $100 - $110 a day 10 hours ago Qualifications Cardiovascular emergency response Certified Medication Technician First Aid Certification Health status assessment First aid and CPR Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide exceptional in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on-site, delivering personalized support that enhances the quality of life for clients. The ideal candidate will be energetic, proactive, and committed to fostering a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment. You will play a vital role in assisting with personal care, medication management, and maintaining a clean, organized living space while building meaningful relationships with those you serve. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive personal care including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, reporting changes, and maintaining detailed medical documentation. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy Support clients with specialized needs such as dementia care, or , hospice care, Operate medical equipment including Hoyer lifts, catheters, and other assistive devices safely and effectively Assist with meal preparation, cooking nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through cleaning tasks such as laundry, general housekeeping, and ensuring infection control standards are met Document medical records meticulously and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals regarding patient status and progress Skills Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living or long-term care environments Candidate must have CPR & First Aid, Med tech, Tax ID / Social Security number, and Health Assessment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to patient care Skilled in patient observation, dementia care, hospice support. Ability to perform CPR and other emergency response techniques confidently Experience operating medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts and managing catheter or medication administration Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Demonstrated ability to work independently in a live-in employment setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion

$100.00 - $110.00 per day
