Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated team as a Live-In Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized, compassionate care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients in a home setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position offers the rewarding opportunity to foster independence while delivering exceptional care tailored to each individual's needs. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will be an integral part of creating a nurturing environment that promotes dignity and quality of life. Duties Provide attentive patient observation to monitor health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medications accurately following medical instructions and document all medication records securely in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Support clients with dementia or Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice needs with patience and understanding Operate medical equipment as needed Maintain detailed medical documentation, including vital signs, medication administration logs, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment Qualifications Proven experience in senior care, home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR systems for accurate documentation Certifications in CPR and first aid are required; additional certifications such as hospice care or dementia training are a plus Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professionalism and compassion Strong patient observation skills with the ability to recognize urgent health concerns quickly Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare teams Embark on a fulfilling career that combines compassion with professionalism.
