Job Description
Urgently Hiring Compassionate In-Home Caregivers Stay Home Senior Services is seeking dependable and compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors in Hagerstown, MD and surrounding areas. Our mission is to help seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes — and our caregivers are at the heart of that mission. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Provide medication reminders Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, organizing) Provide companionship and emotional support Transport clients to appointments or errands (as needed) Monitor and report changes in client condition Complete required documentation in accordance with company and state standards Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required) Ability to travel within a 35-mile radius CPR certification (required) 2-step TB test (required) Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred but not required: Prior caregiving experience (professional or personal) CNA or HHA certification Skills & Attributes Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and follow care plans Flexible and adaptable to client needs and schedules Benefits Competitive pay Consistent 1-on-1 client care Supportive and responsive office team Ongoing training and development opportunities Holiday pay Referral bonuses Mileage reimbursement (where applicable) Service Area Hagerstown, Boonsboro, Sharpsburg, and surrounding Washington County, MD areas How to Apply Apply directly through Indeed or apply online: https://stayhomess.clearcareonline.com/apply/ Equal Opportunity Employer Stay Home Senior Services is an equal opportunity employer.
