Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Dove Home Care Nursing Services is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those recovering from illness or injury. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their homes.
Key Responsibilities :
Personal Care Assistance:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Medication Reminders:
Provide medication reminders as per the care plan.
Meal Preparation:
Assist in preparing meals and ensuring clients receive proper nutrition.
Light Housekeeping:
Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, bed-making, and maintaining a clean living environment.
Companionship:
Offer emotional support, engage clients in activities, and promote social interaction to enhance their well-being.
Monitoring and Reporting:
Observe and report changes in clients' physical or emotional condition to the supervising nurse or care coordinator.
Transportation Assistance:
Escort clients to appointments, errands, or social activities as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and timely records of care provided and any client changes.
Qualifications :
Current CNA certification from the Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON). CPR and First Aid certification (required). Physical exam and TB screening (current). Background check clearance (no older than three months).
COVID-19
vaccination record. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compassionate and patient demeanor. Experience in providing personalized and culturally sensitive care to the elderly population.
Preferred Skills :
Experience working with individuals with chronic illnesses and autism in children. Previous home care experience is a plus.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours a day
