As a Personal Support Specialist (PSS), you will play a vital role in helping our residents maintain their independence and connection with their communities.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of each resident Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and eating Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless continuity of care Create a positive and respectful environment that promotes dignity and well-being
Requirements:
Current Personal Support Specialist (PSS) certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to provide emotional support and companionship to residents Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays Must have up-to-date vaccinations and be willing to provide proof prior to hire
