  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Worker with an active CRMA certification.

Responsibilities Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols Support individuals with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care, through personalized engagement and behavior management techniques Operate medical equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist with transfers and mobility Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area Document care activities using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems accurately and promptly Support residents' social activities and foster a positive environment through engaging conversations and recreational activities Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning resident areas and common spaces Drive residents when necessary for appointments or outings, ensuring safety at all times Requirements Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care settings is highly preferred Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and basic first aid certification is required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia is advantageous Ability to lift safely using equipment like Hoyer lifts; physical stamina to perform caregiving tasks throughout shifts Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities; clean driving record preferred Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to safety protocols consistently Join us in creating a caring environment where every individual feels valued!
