Job Description

Peace of Mind Child Development Center is seeking Assistant Child Caregivers for children ages 6 Weeks -12 years old.



The Assistant caregiver is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in the day to day functions of the classroom. This includes, but is not limited to assisting in; daily schedule, lesson planning, small and large group activities, supervising children during participation in structured activities, cleaning duties and building strong relationships with our families while still maintaining confidentiality. Graduate from High School Must be 18 Years of age or older. Must pass the Michigan Child Care background check (Fingerprinting) Must be able to obtain or become Infant, Child and Adult First Aid/ CPR certified. Teachers Assistant must complete 24 hours of training yearly.

• Must be a mature adult that can interact appropriately with children and staff members. Education and work experience is preferred but not required.
