Job Description

LOOKING FOR LIVE-IN/ NON LIVE-IN CANDIDATES
Job Title:
Direct Care Worker As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need of assistance. Your compassionate support will empower clients to live as independently as possible while receiving the care they deserve. You will work closely with clients in group home settings that promote dignity and well-being. What you'll do Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document client vital signs and overall health status to ensure their safety and comfort. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' mental well-being. Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines. Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Engage clients in social activities and recreational programs to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Required Qualifications Mandatory valid state identification and have a social security number. Must have background check, TB test and medical clearance. Require to have a high school diploma and a resume. Knowledge of First Aid and CPR techniques to respond effectively in emergencies. Experience in home health or direct support roles is an asset. Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
