Job Description

Nanny / Caregiver Position Job OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, patient, and compassionate nanny/caregiver to assist with the care of a 4-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy with special needs. This position primarily focuses on tutoring support, maintaining a clean and organized home environment, and providing evening supervision when needed. Some evenings, the children may already be asleep upon arrival due to parents' work schedules. This role is ideal for someone who is calm, dependable, and experienced working with young children and/or children with special needs. Responsibilities Provide attentive and supportive care for two young children Assist with basic tutoring and educational activities appropriate for preschool and kindergarten levels Maintain a safe, calm, and structured environment Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying common areas, dishes, toy organization, and children's laundry when needed Help reinforce routines and positive behaviors Communicate respectfully and effectively with parents regarding daily activities or concerns Ensure children's safety and well-being at all times Qualifications & Experience Previous childcare, nanny, tutoring, or caregiving experience preferred Experience working with children with special needs is strongly preferred Patient, dependable, and nurturing personality Ability to follow household routines and instructions carefully Strong communication and organizational skills CPR/First Aid certification is a plus, but not required Additional Information Evening availability may be required Some shifts may involve monitoring while children are already asleep Light housekeeping is expected as part of the role We are looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate who can become a positive and supportive presence in our children's lives.
