Job Description
Summary of Duties The K.I.D.S. Assistant Caregiver and K.I.D.S. Lead Caregiver are responsible for the general supervision of children while promoting a consistent, safe, and nurturing environment through positive interactions by teaching and assisting in daily class activities including lessons, snack, and clean up. Reports to K.I.D.S. Program Director Qualifications/Requirements Monitors and engages in planned activities Organizes and participates in games, reading to children, and other activities Assists in the maintenance of program sites by creating a sanitary and clean environment Meets education and experience as required by the State of Michigan Department of Human Services Compensation Per DESPA Union Contract, Class 2 - 06 or 07 classification Classification based on education and years of experience Work Schedule 1 PM position, up to 4.0 hours/work day 2 PM positions, up to 3.0 hours/work day
