Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate will have experience working with people with developmental disabilities and possess a strong desire to improve the quality of life for those in their care. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care, ensuring safety, and promoting independence within the home or community setting. Responsibilities Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily living activities. Monitor patients' health and report any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel. Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping duties. Perform heavy lifting as required for client mobility and transportation. Administer CPR or first aid when necessary, following established protocols. Document care provided and maintain accurate records of patient progress. Experience Previous experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred. Familiarity with direct support services for individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. A caring attitude, patience, and empathy are essential qualities for success in this role.
