Job Description

We are seeking a Care Giver / Companion to provide part-time support to a respectful and independent elderly couple in their home. This position does not involve personal care such as bathing or dressing, and both individuals are mobile and self-sufficient. The schedule for this position is 3 days - 10 hours per day. 8am to 6pm or 9am to 7pm - Every Saturday and Sunday required with one other day.
Care Giver/ Companion Key Responsibilities:
Provide calm, supportive companionship, with a quiet and unobtrusive presence Prepare simple breakfast items (cereal, coffee, toast, etc.) Warm and serve pre-prepared lunches (no cooking required, use of microwave or toaster oven) Offer medication reminders for both individuals / Assist with locating hearing aids or other personal items, as needed Support a smooth and calm start to the morning, especially for the wife who may experience some confusion Maintain a respectful awareness of personal space and household routines Care Giver /
Companion Qualifications:
Experience with in-home elderly care or companionship, especially with individuals with early dementia, preferred Calm, patient demeanor with excellent listening skills Ability to maintain boundaries and work discreetly in a private household setting Punctual and dependable Non-smoker, with reliable transportation Ideal for someone who values building trust through presence and connection rather than activity. Companion Compensation:
This is a low-physical-demand position. Generous compensation of $38+ / hour
