Job Description
This position provides critical support to our CNA's and nurses in providing assistance and hygiene care to residents. This requires the ability to work with varied personalities in a respectful and professional manner. Employees must understand and have a willingness to diligently comply with the promotion and maintenance of the personal health and safety of all residents.
- CNA certification not required upon hire but is required to be obtained during employment.
DUTIES:
1. Perform duties in a resident-oriented environment which requires flexibility, a high level of patience and tolerance. 2. Attend all required training on an ongoing basis. 3. Assist residents with hygiene as assigned. 4. Responding to call lights and delivering messages to and from nurse or CNA. 5. Distribute linens and make beds. 6. Empty soiled linens and garbage. 7. Clean wheelchairs, shower, and spa rooms. Performs other duties as assigned.- Flexible schedule and hours available.
- Must be able to work independently. Requires good communication and human relation skills to interact with residents, families and staff.
- Please note that the posted wage includes the Direct Care Worker's Wage of $0.85.
