Summary As a Direct Care member at Tenacious Living, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities to maintain their independence and quality of life. This position is essential to our mission of providing compassionate care and support tailored to each individual's needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities to promote independence and well-being. Monitor and record vital signs to ensure health and safety standards are met. Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Provide support in home settings and assist with Daily Living Skills Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living environment for client safety. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Engage clients in social and recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. Document all interactions and care provided accurately for compliance and reporting purposes. Qualifications Experience in direct care settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements. Ability to monitor vital signs and recognize changes in client health status. Compassionate approach towards assisting individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. Experience in medication administration is essential. Willingness to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
