Lansing, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Caregiving Assisting with ADLs High school diploma or GED CNA Bathing assistance Full Job Description As a Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. This role requires a high level of patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others. Responsibilities Provide compassionate direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical protocols. Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records and reports as required. Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. Participate in care planning and implementation to ensure resident needs are met. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not necessary. We offer training and support for new caregivers. Familiarity with first aid, patient care, and HIPAA regulations. Ability to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred but not required. Candidates without certification will still be considered. Must provide a physician's statement indicating physical and mental capability to provide care. Must pass a criminal background check as mandated by the Adult Foster Care Facility Licensing Act. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Must demonstrate patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
