In this role, you will be responsible for assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for elderly individuals and possess strong interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Assist senior residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being. Help residents with medication reminders and coordinate with healthcare professionals as needed. Ensure a safe and clean environment by maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols. Support residents during meal times, including feeding if necessary, and assist with dietary needs. Observe and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to appropriate staff members. Engage residents in recreational activities and social events to foster community involvement. Follow care plans and documentation procedures accurately to ensure consistent care delivery. Requirements Prior experience in caregiving, assisted living, or working with senior citizens is preferred. Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills. Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or assisting with mobility aids. Patience, empathy, and a respectful attitude towards elderly individuals. Reliable and able to work flexible hours as needed. Basic knowledge of safety procedures and health regulations related to senior care is advantageous.
