Job Description
Right at Home is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as caregivers. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities and fostering a positive environment that enhances the quality of life for those you care for. Even after completing this application, a paper application is still required at the office. Open application hours are between 10 am and 3 pm, Monday through Friday. Please bring a photo ID and your Social Security card Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversation and activities. Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment. Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including running errands or attending appointments. Monitor client health and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals as necessary. Maintain accurate records of care provided and adhere to all safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs, including availability on weekends or evenings if needed.
