What You'll Do As a Direct Care Worker, you'll support residents with activities of daily living while promoting their comfort, independence, dignity, and quality of life. Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene Providing companionship and emotional support Assisting with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using safe techniques Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping and laundry Assisting with medication administration, as permitted by training and state regulations Observing, documenting, and reporting changes in resident condition Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment Following all licensing regulations, company policies, and resident rights Communicating effectively with coworkers, families, and healthcare professionals as appropriate Who We're Looking For Compassionate, patient, and dependable Honest, respectful, and trustworthy Calm under pressure and works well as part of a team Committed to providing exceptional, resident-centered care Experienced in dementia care, hospice, or palliative care (preferred but not required) Dedicated, reliable, and eager to learn Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred Ability to pass required background checks CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain after hire Reliable transportation Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and transfers Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout a shift What We Offer Competitive wage Paid vacation and sick time Ongoing training and professional growth opportunities Supportive leadership and a positive team environment A respectful workplace where every team member is valued Meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of others every day Day and night shifts available ReVara Estate is currently located in the City of Saugatuck, MI Join the ReVara Family We can teach caregiving skills—we can't teach kindness, integrity, and compassion.
