In this vital role, you will assist residents with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe, respectful environment. Your caring presence will foster comfort and well-being for those you serve. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop your caregiving skills while contributing to a supportive community. Responsibilities Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor residents' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings promptly. Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication administration accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition while maintaining a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning duties. Support residents' emotional well-being through social interaction, behavior management techniques, and encouraging participation in community activities. Maintain compliance with safety standards such as first aid procedures and assist in emergency response situations when necessary. Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
