Role:
Join Special Care Services II Inc as a Direct Care Worker in Taylor, MI, where you will make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities. We are looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide essential support and care.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life. Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals. Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Experience in direct care or a related field is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges. Empathy and patience in dealing with clients' needs. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Background check clearance required.
