CAREGIVER
About Birch Meadows Birch Meadows is Senior care home in Three Rivers, Michigan, rooted in a family legacy of senior care dating back to 1960. We consider it an honor to care for our residents, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our small, home-like setting and low resident-to-staff ratio mean every caregiver here genuinely matters — and is genuinely accountable. This Is Real Caregiving Work Caring for older adults well means there will be warm moments and difficult ones equally. Our residents need caregivers who understand that helping someone through a hard time, assisting with personal care, or redirecting a confused resident with patience are not the lesser parts of the job. They are the job. We're looking for people who bring the same pride and attentiveness to every task, because our residents deserve nothing less — and they deserve to know that the person who cares for them will be there, consistently, every single day. If you are mature, dependable, and have a genuine heart for the elderly — not just a fondness for them, but a real commitment to their dignity and comfort — we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities Include Hands-on personal care:
bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, and hygiene assistance Mobility support: helping residents in and out of bed, walking, and exercising safely Medication administration per state regulations Monitoring and recording vital signs and health observations; reporting changes to management Maintaining accurate resident care records Housekeeping, laundry, and kitchen duties to keep the home clean and safe Supporting residents' mental engagement and independence through activities and interaction Carrying out individualized care plans consistently across shifts Responsibilities vary based on shift worked. All employees will be trained for all shift duties. What We're Looking For Maturity, reliability, and a calm presence under pressure Prior caregiving experience is a plus, but we will absolutely train the right person Physical stamina — this work requires lifting, standing, and hands-on assistance throughout your shift The ability to respond to dementia-related behaviors, with patience and composure Punctuality and follow-through — our residents depend on consistent, on-time care Willingness to work a weekend rotation and a full shift every shift. Strong communication and the ability to work closely with a small dynamic team
