Direct Care Worker - Part-Time 2nd and 3rd Shifts Green Acres of Wayland - Assisted Living CommunityWayland, MI Join a Team That Truly Cares Do you have a heart for helping others? At Green Acres of Wayland, we believe in creating a warm, family-like environment where both our residents and our employees feel valued and supported. We are currently seeking Part-Time Direct Care Workers / Med Passers to provide compassionate care and daily support to our elderly residents. Available Shifts 2nd Shift (Evenings)3:00 PM - 11:00 PM24-32 hours per week$17.00 per hour 3rd Shift (Nights)11:00 PM - 7:00 AM24-32 hours per week$18.00 per hour Schedules include every other weekend and a holiday rotation. Your Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating Administer medications (training provided) Follow residents' individualized care plans and healthcare needs Provide emotional support and companionship Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to pass a criminal background check Compassionate, dependable, and patient No license required — paid on-the-job training provided Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
