JOB SUMMARY
We have an opening for a full-time Staffing Coordinator in our Bloomington office. This position coordinates staffing of our CNA's in our senior client homes, as well as additional duties listed below. The hours are 8-4:30, Monday - Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior scheduling experience. High school diploma or GED. Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office, MS Excel and Scheduling program. Experience working with senior/geriatric patients Basic medical terminology. Previous experience as a CNA, HHA or PCA. Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills. Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Shared responsibility of a low call volume on-call phone during off hours. Extra pay per day. Creates and maintains staff schedules. Conducts new employee HHA orientation/charting training Reviews & submits bi-weekly CNA payroll Coordinates/conducts quarterly HHA staff in-service/meetings. Provides oversight of HHA's. Audits missed visits Schedules client appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability. Ensure staffing, training, compliance reporting and quality assurance requirements are met. Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes. Discerns client services required as outlined in agreements, urgent requests and care plans. Helps maintains staff and client database (such as EMR charting, dates and reminders of TB, client admission, client hospital admission and discharge). Helps maintains staff and client statistics, and reports. Maintains call - in and retention report. Performs general office duties
