Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Workers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need. As a Direct Care Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Duties:
  • Provide direct care and assistance to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
  • Assist with medication administration and ensure proper documentation
  • Support residents with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
  • engage residents in meaningful activities
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and dignity
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in direct care or a related field is preferred
  • Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
  • First aid certification is desirable
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with residents and their families
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
