Monday - Friday 7:30 - 4:30 The above is just an example with average hours. Minimum 40 hours per week. Willing to work on a mutually agreed-upon schedule, but it would be ideal to have 2 different weekly hour schedules based on Mom's work schedule: for example, for busy weeks in the hospital (about 16 weeks per year), nanny's hours would be 7 am to 5 pm M-F and 8 am - 4 pm for all other weeks. There will also be some evening (until ~8 pm) and weekend hours available to help Dad when Mom is on call or working a weekend.

ABOUT THE FAMILY

This busy Edina family is looking for a nanny to join them in August. They are still in development with 3 children under 5 years old. The family enjoys the outdoors, going to parks, biking, swimming, spending time at the family cabin, and being active whenever possible. Part of the family is an energetic and friendly black lab. Covid vaccination is not required to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Feeding, changing diapers, soothing, reading to, and doing gross motor development activities with the infant Supervising play and doing age-appropriate activities Making meals for the children Helping to dress and change the preschoolers Helping to transport the children to/from school when needed (the oldest will be in K in the fall, and the middle child will be in a 5-day per week preschool program) Watching and caring for the two older children before/after school and on days off

REQUIREMENTS

Looking for someone who likes working with infants, but is also willing to help with preschool-age children Solid work experience with infants as well as preschoolers Someone who is a multi-tasker Reliable & Responsible Nurturing Active and energetic A nanny with a good connection to other nannies for socialization activities Someone who takes initiative Helping transport to school when needed. Before and after school care of the older boys
