Resident Assistant (RA)

Three Assisted Living Locations in

Hibbing, MN:

Hillcrest Adams, Hillcrest Suites and Hillcrest Terrace Duties

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide caregiving, companionship, caregiving and emotional support to residents.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Prepare and serve meals for residents, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed.
• Provide social activities and caregiving.
• Follow through with behavior management techniques as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents.
• Assist with laundry and housekeeping tasks as necessary.
• Provide direct support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans and caregiving.
• Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or health status to facility and/or on call nursing staff.
• Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary. ```Requirements```
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in care giving senior care and/or mental health or a related field is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and dementia care is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems is desirable.
