Job Summary Home Instead is excited to announce that we are expanding in the Hutchinson area!! We are seeking Independent, self motivated and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities and dementia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients while ensuring their dignity and independence. This role requires a nurturing personality and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's specific needs and preferences. Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being. Monitor clients' physical and emotional health, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel. Ensure the safety and comfort of clients by maintaining a clean and organized living environment. Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting as necessary. Uphold resident rights and respect client confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to coordinate care effectively. 11am-3pm 7 days a week, looking to hire 3 caregivers Experience Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred, particularly in nursing homes or similar settings. Familiarity with care plans and the ability to implement them effectively. Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus. Understanding of dementia care principles is beneficial. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
