In this vital role, you will provide assistance with daily activities, monitor health and safety, and foster a warm, respectful environment that promotes independence and well-being. While working in an assisted living setting, your dedication will help enhance quality of life for those in your care. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor patients' vital signs and observe for any changes in health or behavior, reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Support residents with varying levels of need, creating a safe and calming environment Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing cleaning duties and ensuring a hygienic environment Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to safely assist with heavy lifting or transfers Requirements Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing home care, or group homes; experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is highly valued Familiarity with care plans, medication administration, vital signs measurement, and HIPAA compliance Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing varying cognitive needs, providing compassionate support tailored to their needs Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with resident transfers using equipment like Hoyer lifts Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes promptly Excellent communication skills combined with a caring attitude to foster trust and comfort among residents Join us in delivering exceptional caregiving that transforms lives!
