Job Description
Direct Support Staff

DSP Responsibilities:
- Attends and completes all required trainings
- Participates in community activities with individuals
- Assists with self-cares such as bathing and dressing
- Prepares meals and or assists the individual with meal preparation
- Administers medication and completes documentation on the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
- Documents detailed narratives and behavior data daily
- Monitors and maintains safety of individuals providing direct care
- Follows programming outlined in the Individual Abuse Prevention Plan (IAPP), and Coordinated Services and Support Plan and Addendum (CSSP)
- Models behavior and mentors individual to increase their daily living skills
- Communicates and works alongside guardians, case managers, families and other team members
- Collaborates with co-workers in a team approach to provide quality care to individuals
- The ability to de-escalate crisis situations and behaviors that may require physical intervention on occasion
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license (required) and must have a clear driving record.
- Basic domestic skills (cooking, cleaning, laundry).
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally

27 hours with options to pick up Full time available: schedules are set and cannot be adjusted . Sunday 9am-9pm Monday 9am-9pm Tuesday 9am-9pm Wednesday 9am-9pm Part time available: schedules are set and cannot be adjusted Sunday 4pm-9pm Monday 4pm-9pm Tuesday 4pm-9pm Wednesday 4pm-9pmSalary:
$15.50- $17.
