Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice services. Residents enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, pool, pub, theater, and gourmet dining. We are currently hiring a Home Maker / Housekeeper to join our Iris Park Commons Care team. In this role, you'll help older adults maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming home while providing companionship and exceptional customer service that supports their independence and quality of life.
Wage:
$19.00-$21.50hr.
DOE Schedule:
Part-time | Day Shift What You'll Do Clean and sanitize client homes following established housekeeping and infection control procedures Perform routine housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathrooms, kitchens, and other assigned areas Complete personal laundry for residents Assist with light meal preparation Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working order Complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and their families in a caring, compassionate manner Follow all safety policies and infection prevention practices Assist with other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently while managing multiple daily tasks Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Ability to maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism Ability to follow safety guidelines and infection control procedures Preferred Qualifications Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience Knowledge of residential cleaning techniques and procedures Experience working with older adults or in a senior living, healthcare, or home care setting Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday Frequently bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies " At Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, we value a diverse, inclusive workforce and we provide equal employment opportunity for all applicants and employees. Regularly use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls and reach with arms. Frequent standing, bending, and walking. Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasional sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Ability to communicate verbally and comprehend spoken instructions.
