Job Description

Job Overview We are excited to announce an opening for part-time caregivers dedicated to providing compassionate, attentive, and professional care to individuals in need of support during the daytime hours. This role offers flexible scheduling between 8am to 3pm, with open interview sessions to meet enthusiastic candidates eager to make a positive impact. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by delivering personalized care in various settings, including assisted living facilities, group homes, and home care environments. Duties Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor residents' health status by observing patient conditions and vital signs regularly Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and safe environment through routine cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts to ensure safe transfers and mobility assistance Document patient observations, care activities, and any changes in condition accurately and promptly Qualifications Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Knowledge of patient care techniques including CPR, first aid, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders with patience and understanding Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with mobility tasks safely Strong communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and team members Certification in CPR or first aid is a plus; ongoing training opportunities available for skill enhancement Join us in making a meaningful difference every day!
