Job Description

Personal In-Home Caregiver for Senior Citizens If you are caring, dependable, responsible and looking for a rewarding job with a flexible schedule, Staying in Place STL may be the place for you. Staying in Place is hiring Caregivers to focus on our growing St Louis County client base.
Specific shifts available today are:
8AM-5 PM daily, Mon-Fri (must be able to take at least 4 shifts/week
Staying In Place STL:
It is a locally owned and operated company. Our primary goal is to provide excellent supportive care to our clients and their families Provides services to clients in West, South and Central St. Louis County areas Offers flexible part-time scheduling and independent work environment Offers competitive compensation Work shifts range between 4 - 12 hours. Typically shifts are available for Monday - Friday morning and afternoon. Some overnight hours are available. Offers mileage reimbursement for client transportation to medical appointments, errands and activities Offers bonus referral program for new clients or employees Responsibilities / Activities include: Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, reminding clients of their medical schedules Meal planning and preparation Light housekeeping includes changing linens, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and cleaning bathrooms Provide transportation to appointments/activities/errands as needed Communicate with clients' families and Staying In Place STL staff regarding client observation, activities and hours of service
Qualifications:
Prefer at least 3 years of recent in-home caregiving experience Have a genuine desire to help people, have high moral standards of honesty and integrity Applicants must be bondable and pass these background checks: criminal background, driving record, and drug testing Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and automobile insurance Able to meet positions physical demands. The work requires light physical exertion on a regular and recurring basis to assist clients in activities, ambulation, personal care, transfers and toileting.
