We are seeking compassionate and experienced Caregivers to join our team at Seniors Helping Seniors KC North. As a Caregiver, you will provide companionship and support to seniors in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Our ideal candidate is a mature and caring individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, light housekeeping, and meal preparation
- Assist with medication management and ensure timely delivery of medications
- Engage in activities that stimulate mental and emotional well-being, such as puzzles, games, and conversation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed
- Communicate effectively with seniors, family members, and caregivers to ensure seamless care
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in caregiving or a related field
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift, move, and transfer clients, if necessary
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license, if applicable
