Job Description
Overview We're hiring one dedicated live-in caregiver for a 95-year-old woman in the Ladue area, with travel to Florida for about five months of the year. This is a long-term, stable position with a kind family that treats their caregiver as part of the household. You'll have your own private bedroom in both the St. Louis and Florida homes. She has early-stage dementia and is largely independent. She showers, eats, and moves around her home on her own. Your role is to supervise, support, and keep her engaged, not to provide medical care. This is a calm, well-run household with quiet nights. Responsibilities Help her get set up in the morning, including laying out clothes Prepare meals or take her out to eat Supervise her safely around the house and on the stairs (she doesn't need physical help, just a watchful eye) Keep her active and engaged, both physically and mentally Support her physical therapy exercises between visits (PT comes twice a week) Accompany her to afternoon appointments and on outings Light household support related to her daily routine What we're looking for Experience caring for older adults, comfortable with early dementia Patient, warm, and dependable for the long term Comfortable with a live-in role and seasonal travel to Florida Someone who wants stability and a genuine connection with the person they care for Able to keep up with an active senior and encourage her mobility Details Paid as a W2 employee Private bedroom in both homes, travel included Interviews this week, seeking to start before August 4th If this sounds like the right fit, apply with a brief note about your caregiving experience.
