I am a 42 year old female quadriplegic looking for female caregivers for 8am-2pm Tuesday through Saturday, 4pm-7pm Friday and Saturday and from 10pm-11pm Tuesd through Saturday. The morning routine includes breakfast, slideboard transfer, bowel program, shower, dressing, hair, and lunch. This job is pretty fast paced and physical, part of it is pretty warm when I am in the shower, it's kind of like hot yoga. The afternoon shift consists of every type of household task that I cannot do including housekeeping, dinner, errands, shopping and laundry. The nighttime shift consist of helping me get ready for bed and getting me in bed. You must be on the Missouri family safety care registry or have a Good Cause Waiver, many people are already on it through other healthcare jobs. If you have ever worked in public healthcare, for a daycare or the school system or done caregiving through the consumer directed services program you are already on it. I need someone really reliable. They must be at least 18, be able to pass a background check, have a valid drivers license, have your own reliable transportation and be strong and healthy. If you have children you must have reliable childcare. You must be able to come to work in any weather. If your vehicle breaks down you must get an Uber or Lyft. If you cannot come to work, I am trapped in bed with no pills or food or I have to stay up all night in my wheelchair which causes pressure sores. Pay is $15.50 per hour paid weekly direct deposit. There is a $12 per morning bonus paid cash at the end of every month. There are also bonuses available for filling in and being reliable.
