In this rewarding role, you will help clients maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, reliable, and genuinely enjoys helping others. Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene. Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed. Provide mobility, transfer, and positioning assistance according to the client's care plan. Provide medication reminders or assistance as permitted by the care plan and applicable regulations. Observe clients' health and well-being and promptly report changes or concerns. Provide companionship and emotional support. Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and other tasks necessary to maintain a clean and safe home. Follow individualized care plans and complete required documentation accurately. Communicate professionally with clients, family members, supervisors, and healthcare providers. Respect each client's privacy, preferences, dignity, and independence. Qualifications and Skills Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to caregiving. Dependable and able to work independently in clients' homes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow care plans, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. Previous caregiving, home-care, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
